Laston P. Manja is a Lecturer of Economics at the University of Malawi (Chancellor College), with specialization in Econometrics, Macroeconomics, International Economics and Monetary Economics. His research experience spans through both Macroeconomics (including issues of International Trade and Development) and Microeconomic issues of agriculture, gender and household behaviour. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Social Science (Economics) in 2015, he obtained a Master of Arts (Economics) degree in 2018, all from the University of Malawi. Laston is currently a pre-doctoral fellow at the University of Michigan, under Professor Dean Yang.
